Announcing The Button Dragsters!

Hi guys, it has been some time since I last blogged, but i am back now! While I was gone I have done many things, don't worry I will blog all about it later. But now i am excited for my new app i created for the Apple iPhone. It is called "The Button Dragsters" what you have to do is tap the button under the car, the faster you tap the faster your car goes. There is a One Player mode and a Two Player mode. You guys should try it out (when its been approved). The first 10 commenters get a free redeem code for my app!

In case you missed Microsoft's huge E3 2009 conference

E3 (or Electronic Entertainment Expo) is a series of press conferences by Microsoft, Sony, Nitendo, and some game developers/publishers. E3 is where they show of what they have in store for the year. This year Microsoft wowed the crowd with there blockbuster titles for the 360 like Left4Dead 2, Halo 3: ODST, Modern Warfare 2, Mass Effect 2. They also shocked the crowd with 3 unannounced titles Halo: Reach (a prequel to Halo 1), Forza 3, and Joy Ride. But they saved the best for last they announced a project they have been working on for a long time they call it Project Natal. Natal is meant to change the meaning of next-gen gaming, Natal is a device that translates your movements into the game (basically its like your in the game and no controllers!!!) it also is capable of facial recognition and voice recognition. I know what your thinking (when is the release date, and how much does it cost) well Microsoft hasn't announced anything and i am sure it wont be out this year. The new NVIDIA 3D vision

Have you ever watched a movie and said "This should be in 3D!!!" or play a game on your PC and say "I wish this game was in 3D!!". If you did say one or both of those things then its your lucky day because NVIDIA released a new product called NVIDIA 3D vision. NVIDIA 3D vision is a pair of glasses that lets you watch dvd and blu-ray movies in 3D and lets you play games in 3D. There are currently over 300 games that work flawlessly with NVIDIA 3D vision, however there is a catch, your monitor needs to have a 120 MHz refresh rate. Most LCD monitors use a 60-75 MHz refresh rate, currently there are only a handful of monitors that have a 120 MHz refresh rate. If you don't want to use a monitor you can also use a TV or a projector that has a 120 MHz refresh rate. You also need a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 and above not a 8600 it has to be a 8800 and above. If you play graphic intensive games like Crysis you might want to tweak the settings a bit, because it affects the FPS. The NVIDIA 3D vision has a 40 hour battery life it includes a "Infrared Pyramid" that transfers the signal to the glasses and you can also control the "3D-ness" from the pyramid.

Cool gadgets from China

I recently went to Macau and China this April 27-May 6 and it was really nice. I went to a place in China where they sell gadgets and three things caught my eye one of them is a pen that is a 4GB flash drive, camera, and mic it records in .avi format and its quite clear. The charging time for the pen is 1 1/2 hours, but I had no time so I charged the pen for 15-20 minutes and it recorded for 30 mins. Next there was sunglasses that was also an mp3 player that can also be used as a USB drive it comes in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB. Then there was a watch that was also a cellphone it uses a micro sd chip for memory and it can handle up to 4GB it has a camera, bluetooth, a touch screen interface, and a numerical keypad. I am planning to open a ebay account and sell these online

Skype is an application for desktops that lets you make free calls(landline too), instant messages,and video conferencing. Skype for iPhone will have all of that except video conferencing and it will only work on wifi. Skype for iPhone was announced about a week ago, but now its finally here (in U.S. store). The creators of Skype also announced that it will come out for Blackberry's this May.

The new MacBooks and the MacBook Pro's graphics capabilities

Apple announced the new MacBook lineups that include a faster processor, more hard drive space and capacity to store more amounts of RAM(8GB), a new multi-touch button-less glass track pad (the whole trackpad is the button), and has a new GPU courtesy of Nvidia. The new 13" MacBook has a integrated 9400m GPU and the MacBook comes in two configurations the high-end configuration has the backlit keyboard that most of us have been waiting for, while all of the new MacBook Pro's have the backlit keyboard.The new 15" Macbook Pro comes with a integrated 9400m and a discrete 9600m GT and if any of you want to see what this GPU can do just watch this video here. WWDC 2009 announced

WWDC was announced on March 26, 2009 and tickets are being sold. There might be big changes on WWDC. Apple might announce the release date of Snow Leopard(the next major release of OS X 10.6) and they will announce the release date of the new iPhone firmware 3.0. There are websites that state that Steve Jobs might be back to announce these things during WWDC, since he took a leave of absence, because of medical complications. And who knows the WWDC 2 years ago the iPhone was announced. Last WWDC the iPhone 3G was announced. We might get another "One More Thing" from Apple again

iPhone 1G dock transformed to iPhone 3G dock

As most of you know the first iPhone came with a dock, but the iPhone 3G did not. Apple said they removed it to lower prices. If you are like me and need the dock to keep your phone clean and without scratches. You can transform thew iPhone 1G dock to iPhone 3G dock. You need to scrape of the place where your iPhone goes in until the iPhone 3G fits. I used scissors but you ca use power tools to make it easier and cleaner and you can polish it with either 600 sandpaper or a special acrylic.

iPhone version 3.0 new features

iPhone firmware 3.0 will include many new features, some of them are Copy and Paste images and text, MMS, Forwarding messages and Deleting individual messages, Bluetooth pairing, Tethering, Read and Compose messages in landscape mode. These are just some of the new features that will be included in iPhone firmware 3.0 it will be free for iPhone users, but for iPod Touch it will be $9.95. Apple said that it will be released "This summer", and WWDC will be held in June 9, 2009, and Steve Jobs said he will be off "till the end of June.". But there are websites that say that he will be there to introduce Snow Leopard (the next major release of OS X 10.6) to the public
